DAHA
has always had a big heart to help those in need, especially Arabian horses and
their people.Every year, DAHA donates to support Arabian horses, DAHA members and youth and
organizations that assist Arabian and equine causes.DAHA giving back supports the goal of DAHA: promoting the Arabian horse
and its community.
Oakland Zoo DAHA donated $100 to Oakland Zoo as an appreciation for donating zoo tours for the past 4 - 5 years for our silent auction.
UC Davis Center for Equine Health DAHA donated $500 to the UC Davis Center for Equine Health in October 2011, December 2012, May 2013 and August 2014 for advancing the health, well-being, performance and veterinary care of horses through research, education and public service.
Save Mount Diablo DAHA donated $500 in Dec 2013 to Save Mount Diablo for their work on protecting and expanding the Mount Diablo State Park.
Mount Diablo Interpretive Association
DAHA donated $500 to the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association to assist the California Dept of Parks and Recreation in maintaining and interpreting Mount Diablo State Park for its 700,000 visitors each year.
